Passo dell'Uomo Storto

This couloir is for specialist only: it's far in the backcountry, really hard to locate and then difficult to ski in safe conditions. This is a journey that will bring you into the most unknown valleys if Monte Rosa, places rarely visited by people. You will skin up large valleys climb couloirs and then skin up again before reaching this line. So you will need to be in a excellent physical condition too. The couloir itself is quite steep and narrow often the snow can be wind affected and the very first meter could be rocky, so maybe a rappel could be needed (30m). After the couloir you will enter the high Valley of Otro and you will have a great skiing journey, passing the Otro glacier and skiing 2000 vertical meters to reach alagna.
