This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's very remote, it features high exposure and is typically done between November and April. From a low point of 1.7 km to the maximum altitude of 2.1 km, the route covers 2.5 km, 397 vertical metres of ascent and 397 vertical metres of descent.

Description

Catch your heli up to the famous Whare Kea Chalet at the Albertburn Saddle, and climb your way up to the top for an unobstructed view of Mt.Aspiring across the valley, along with the stellar surrounding mountain peaks. Will simply take your breath away!
