Roughburn Map

Starting at the Rough Burn hut, this well-formed trail begins in native bush. It is a good option for wet weather as the entire track is under cover and has no river crossings. The track terminates on the western border of the Minaret Station hunting block. If there are no hunters in the block a good place to finish the hike is at the hunting block hut which offers views overlooking the station and Lake Wanaka.
