This is a popular alpine climbing route which is generally considered to be easy. It's remote, it features low exposure and is typically done between October and March. From a low point of 763 m to the maximum altitude of 2.1 km, the route covers 4.7 km, 1349 vertical metres of ascent and 2 vertical metres of descent. You'll need ice axe, bivy kit and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

Accessed from Upper Deception Hut, upstream go up the slide then sidle into the upper Good Luck stream. Past Lake Anna climb the South Ridge to the summit.
