From French Ridge hut, hike up the ridge to reach the Quarter Deck. Ascend the Quarterdeck being wary of the large crevasses that can form. After climbing the Quarter deck begin crossing the Bonar Glacier aiming for the compression zone to the north of the crevassed zone. Follow the flat section west, then back north to ascend the steeper slopes guarding the Colin Todd Hut.
