This hike will truly give you an amazing nature experience. Mind that this hike has a lot of obstacles that will challenge you along the way. There are a lot of big and small rocks laying around in the trail. They can be tricky to get past and they are often quite slippery. Long sections of the trail goes through wetlands, so good hiking boots and woolen socks are recommended. The hike starts from the parking right next to the tunnel opening. Already from the beginning, the path is quite tricky with big rocks and roots. Follow the marked path through the valley and up the mountain pass. Once you see the lake, turn to the right and find your way up the steep scree. Watch out for wobbly rocks and holes in the ground. The climb up the scree has no path whatsoever and you must find your own way up. Once youre on top, follow the ridge alongside the edge. There is an unmarked path on top of the ridge, you can follow if you want. On the summit, you will get a breathtaking view of the valley below, the steep mountains surrounding it, and the fjord like lake in the distance. Taking the same way down again is recommended. Be careful when descending down the scree.
