This is the mountain with the big tower, that you can spot fromseveral places in the area, f.ex. Sogndal, Balestrand and Lærdal. You will be rewarded with an amazing panoramic view on the summit. On clear days you can even see the third tallest mountain in Norway, Store Skagsastølstind with 2405 meters above sea level. The ski tour is very easy, but demands that you have some endurance and skiing skills. You start the tour from the small parking next to the airport. All the way you follow the gravel road that works as ski tracks in the winter. The first 2,5 kilometers are relatively flat and elevate 100 metres. The last 3,5 kms are steeper, but only around 10-20 percent.
