Nanga Parbat Raikot Base Camp

The journey starts with a jeep trail from Raikot bridge to Tato village. From their onwards a 3 hour hike to Fairy Meadows at 3200m. Here you camp for the night. Basic accommodation hotels are available here. The next day start early for the trek to Nanga Parbat base camp. Two reasons for early start, first the trek will take your whole day and secondly in the afternoon the clouds cover the Nanga Parbat and you will miss the great view. The trek is relatively easy and nearly flat with some inclines. Your first stop will be Beyal camp at around an hours trek. The second stop is view point. From here onwards will have a 200m incline trek of around 20 degree to the German view point reaching an altitude of 3900m. From here onwards you will cross two glaciers and then onwards to base camp.
