Alongside Sorbmegáisá Storhaugen is a justifiably popular summit with reliable snow conditions and great views of the Lyngen Alps across the fjord.

Description

The parabolic west facing slopes give an excellent feel of skiing straight to the sea above Djupvik. Be aware of the large cornices overhanging the cliffs on the North East side of the mountain, they are often huge and at risk of collapse.
