This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features high exposure and is typically done between October and May. From a low point of 1.3 km to the maximum altitude of 1.7 km, the route covers 7.4 km, 398 vertical metres of ascent and 398 vertical metres of descent.

Description

Shelter Rock is a 7.4 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Madibeng NU, North West, South Africa that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.
