This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be severe. It's remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between January and March. From a low point of 2.1 km to the maximum altitude of 2.5 km, the route covers 921 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 348 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.2 and Labande grade 4.

Description

It means over the naturally occurring terraces, which locals call "Trottoirs", through the steep rocky E flank of Oberjoch. This route requires save snow conditions and a great deal of experience and very good skills. Take care of cornices and cliffs.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
