This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be severe. It's remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between December and March. From a low point of 1.6 km to the maximum altitude of 2.9 km, the route covers 7.7 km, 1321 vertical metres of ascent and 865 vertical metres of descent. You'll need rope, skins, ice axe and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

A fantastically steep climb from San Bernardino to the Marscholhorn (Piz Moesola) and back down to the valley floor. Only for experienced climbers and snow tourers.
