Trail Marathon in remote area. Start and finish are accessible by public transport, but require some good planning to make the schedule work. The route can be cut short or finished earlier in multiple places. Either exit at Wildsee towards Pizol skiresort taking the cable car down or later in Vätis (post bus).

Description
From Weisstannen to Pizol you pass remote alps and climb the highest point of this route on a very exposed ridge. Dropping down to the barrage (Gigerwald) is fun, but hard work for your legs. Be prepared for another steep climb before enjoying beautiful ridge views on your way to Elm. You can add Foostöckli or Fahnenstock, if you like to see more of Glarus in your way to Elm.
