Take the Gornergrat train all the way to the top and enjoy the view of the glacier before your ride. Be aware that the Gornergrat is a very popular spot for tourists; make sure you don't ride there in the middle of the day. Start heading down on loose rocks towards the Riffelhorn in the west. Choose your line in the many rocks and steps until you are at the Riffelsee (Riffel lake). This area is always full of tourists during the day. Follow the lake on the right and continue heading down towards the left. Here are a couple narrow sections but all of them are rideable. Eventually the trail gets more technical and hard but it's doable for the experienced rider. Once you hit a cross-section take the "Mark Twain Weg". This will lead down to Riffelalp where a stop can be made at the Alphitta restaurant. To find the trail into the woods stay above the restaurant Alphitta and below Hotel Riffelalp Resort. Everything is flowy and fast in the forest. Once you get out of it continue straight across the ski slope and over the wooden bridge. Follow this trail all the way down to the beginning of the "Moos Trail"-Flowtrail.
