Swiss Transalp: Haute-Nendaz to Mauvoisin Map

Begin with a nice winding start to one of the Valais area’s most popular ski resort towns: La Tsoumaz. If you want to save yourself 850m of steep uphill climbing, then jump on the cable car to Savoleyres for CHF 12. Follow a fantastic mountain trail to La Chaux, passing the town on Ruinettes along the way. The last stretch of descent is on asphalt all the way down to 900m.

Description

The final stretch of the day is a big climb up to 1850m to Mauvoisin, a touristy town in Val de Bagnes famous for its expansive Lac de Mauvoisin reservoir.
