Ulrichshorn North Face - 3925m Map

Nestled amidst the majestic Swiss Alps, lies a hidden gem of nature's grandeur — a sublime and untamed summit, Ulrichshorn, at 3925 meters. This beautiful peak stands in the shadow of the crowds, and the neighbouring 4000 peaks.

Description

Often tackled together with Nadelhorn or Nadelgrat; or as part of a connection with Balfrin (3795 m).

The route from the Bordierhütte is exclusively happening on a glacier (Riedgletscher), offering a breathtaking spectacle. It begins on the right branch of the glacier, a treacherous path adorned with numerous crevasses, demanding utmost caution. Afterwards, a vast plateau unfolds, granting passage to the significantly steeper final slope, adding an exhilarating touch to the journey.
