This is a popular mountain biking route which is generally considered to be easy. It's not remote, it features low exposure and is typically done all year round. Description
Glen Tanar to Dinnet then Deeside Way into Aboyne with optional pots and pans etc, then back via the Fungle to Glen Tanar

Mostly smooth and non-technical singletrack with unavoidable obstacles 2in/5cm tall or less. Avoidable obstacles may be present. Ideal for beginner riders.
