This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be easy. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between January and March. From a low point of 401 m to the maximum altitude of 748 m, the route covers 11 km, 478 vertical metres of ascent and 478 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

A short and easy afternoon ski tour up Mona Gowan peak in the Cairngorms. Rarely in condition
