This fairly gentle stroll is typical for the area, including some gentle climbs, downhill sections, wide views over the surrounding valleys, some open country-side full of grazing sheep and a memorial to the Battle of Stow, the last battle of the British Civil War in 1646. It finishes by taking you back to Longborough through the grounds of Banks Fee, an 18th century estate (the house and grounds are closed to the public, but this is a public right of way).
Description
A perfect dog walk, but be sure to keep your dog on a lead because there are plenty of livestock along the way.
It is the Cotswolds, so bring wellies unless you are absolutely certain that there will be no mud.
Difficulty
Easy
Walking along a well-kept trail that’s mostly flat. No obstacles are present.
