Beginning at Simply Fields, the route begins through Hurstwood and makes its way up and over Gorple to Widdop Reservoir. The route then makes its way over to Walshaw Dean and Top Withins, reaching Howarth at the half way point. Racing back to Hardcastle Crags, you'll turn at Shackleton Hill, descending through Hardcastle Crags, back over to Lower Gorple Reservoir, reaching back up to Gorple Rocks before making your final descent back down to the finsh.
