This is the wide open center of Upper Bowl, reached with a hike out from the top of Agassiz chairlift. When Upper Bowl is open, the established track usually extends this far, but few people follow it all the way. If you make it out here you are guaranteed to beat the crowds. You might even bootpack higher above the traverse if you want to get more vertical. Enjoy wide open turns on hopefully good snow, ending in a glade that dumps you onto the cat track in the Lower Bowl.
