A nasty line of the eastern ridge point of Mammoth’s Face that feeds into a open bowl: by far the hardest line at Mammoth
Freeride Skiing Extreme
Kiwi Flat is anything but; a steep line of the eastern ridge point of Mammoth’s Face that feeds into an open bowl. This is probably the most technical and nerve-wracking run in all of Mammoth. Exposure is a factor above and below the snow surface. Best late season when the snowpack fills in, Kiwi’s will test your mettle in the face of sheer granite to the left and right and a sometimes moguled bowl below. If you can get can get there first on a bluebird dump, you’ll be in laughing.
