This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between December and April. From a low point of 1.8 km to the maximum altitude of 2.3 km, the route covers 1.8 km, 37 vertical metres of ascent and 477 vertical metres of descent.

Description

Continue along the ridge line below Donner Peak for a more challenging descent down the north face of Trestle Peak. Descend along either skiers left or right shoulder of the peak to meet with the gaps in the old railroad tunnels - unless you plan on jumping off them!
