This is a popular trail running route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features low exposure and is typically done between May and October. From a low point of 2.1 km to the maximum altitude of 2.5 km, the route covers 53 km, 1607 vertical metres of ascent and 1608 vertical metres of descent.
Description
The 50K course starts and finishes downtown in the heart of the Big Bear Village. Runners will enjoy the flowy single track of the Skyline ridge at 8,000 ft before descending to the Village.
