Michigan Ditch Road to East Basin

Beginning at the South Diamond Peak Trailhead, this is an alternate route to take instead of the Lake Agnes Trailhead. Easy hiking with minimal elevation gain, and good views of the Nokhu Crags. An excellent winter snowshoe choice for sunrise alpen glow on the Crags.

This is a popular alpine climbing route which is generally considered to be easy. It's not remote, it features low exposure and is typically done in an unknown time of year. From a low point of 3.1 km to the maximum altitude of 3.2 km, the route covers 5.4 km, 89 vertical metres of ascent and 64 vertical metres of descent.

An alternate route to take instead of the Lake Agnes Trailhead. Easy hiking with minimal elevation gain, and good views of the Nokhu Crags. Provides access to the East Basin to begin the approach to the many Couilar's of the Nokhu Crag's.
