Central Chute Map

This is a crazy backcountry chute that can be accessed by hiking the North and South Bowl bootpack and ducking under the boundary line on hikers' right. You can access this chute direclty of the summit of Wapiti Peak. Depending on the snowpack, this chute can either require a mandatory cliff drop of 10-15 feet or an incredibly perilous straightline. It does mellow out relatively quickly, but speed control is a huge challenge. The turns directly (pun intended) under the chute will be fantastic as hardly anyone is crazy enough to try this line.
