First of the 4 insane Finger Chutes
Freeride Skiing Severe
This is a gnarly chute in the that can be accessed by hiking the North and South Bowl bootpack and ducking under the boundary line on hikers' right. You must hike all the way to the summit of Wapiti Peak and then descend down the skiers' right summit ridge. Go past the Keystone Couloir and look for the next chute. This chute is wedged between the Thumb and Index Rock. This chute requires a mandatory cornice drop-in and in most years (unless the snowpack is superb) a mandatory straightline. It does mellow out quickly and merges onto the lower section of the Keystone Couloir but the chute itself is absolutely terrifying. Note that even though this chute faces North, it takes a lot of snow to be actually skiable since the zone is so rocky. Also note that the pitch estimate depicted by this website doesn't do justice for how gnarly this run is.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
