F3 Chute Map

This is a gnarly chute in the Finger Zone that can be accessed by hiking the North and South Bowl bootpack and ducking under the boundary line on hikers' right. You must hike all the way to the summit of Wapiti Peak and then descend down the skiers' right summit ridge. Go past the Keystone Couloir, F1, and F2. Then look for the next chute. This chute is wedged between the Middle and Ring Rock. This chute is a lot more mellow than F1 and F2, however it's even rockier. It eventually merges onto the lower section of the Keystone Couloir. Note that even though this chute faces North, it takes a lot of snow to be actually skiable since the zone is so rocky. Also note that the pitch estimate depicted by this website doesn't do justice for how gnarly this run is.
