Sun Chutes Map

These technical backcountry chutes can be accessed by hiking the North and South Bowl bootpack and ducking under the boundary line on hikers' right. These chutes a bit tricky to find and skiing a wrong line could mean a horrible fall off some massive rock fields. While they are more exposed than the M-Chutes, they are not technically more challenging. The chutes get progressively narrower and end in a decently tight choke. In addition, because these face south, they hold snow very poorly which could add to the overall challenge. However in good conditions, they're really fun!
