Alternative to a great run off Peak 7
Freeride Skiing Difficult
This is another route you can take if you decide to ski The Dunes (part of the same bowl named after the run). To access this line, hike to the Summit of Peak 7. Once you get to the top, you will see a sign for the Dunes. You are basically skiing off the summit of Peak 7 towards Peak 6. The Dunes tends to build up with a wind drifts and wind blown snow so conditions may vary. Make your way to the base of the bowl. From here, you have the option of skiing towards Peak 6 or back to Peak 7. It is actually the fastest way to access Peak 6 from the top of the Imperial Chair on Peak 8 especially if you feel you need to get over to Peak 6 as fast as possible. It can be a great ski if coverage and conditions permit.
