The Boneyard trail is hands-down one of the must-do mountain bike rides in Eagle. A variety of factors contribute to its fame and acclaim: 1) it's easily-accessible from Eagle, 2) the views from the trail are stunning, and most importantly 3) the flowy descent is perfectly graded, with sublime turns and an incredible trail feel. If it went on forever, we'd all be happy!

Description

The top of the trail is generally accessed via a punch-in-the-gut climb up the aptly-named Bellyache Road. Once on the singletrack, though, it's all gravy! There's essentially zero climbing left to do—it's all downhill flow and corner railing from here!

Be aware that this trail is designated for two-way travel, and is popular with hikers and runners as well. It can also be pedaled up for an out-and-back ride, or used as a climb to access other trails in the area.

However you choose to ride it, the Boneyard is a gem!
