This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be severe. It's very remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between March and May. From a low point of 3.4 km to the maximum altitude of 3.7 km, the route covers 434 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 302 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.3 and Labande grade 4. You'll need skins, ice axe and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

Like the other couloirs on this face, approach by contouring Mitchell Lake first or taking a right-hand turn off the main trail. This is furthest left on the face and has an obvious dogleg up top. It doesn't quite reach the small summit.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
