This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between November and April. From a low point of 3.1 km to the maximum altitude of 3.3 km, the route covers 901 m, 8 vertical metres of ascent and 204 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 2.2 and Labande grade 3. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

Despite being short, this may be the only spicy line to exist in this area, so worth it if conditions are right. On the Baldy Mtn. West Skirt approach, look for the steep face on the right. Figure out a way around it, then ski it.
