This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be severe. It's remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between March and May. From a low point of 3.2 km to the maximum altitude of 3.3 km, the route covers 450 m, 2 vertical metres of ascent and 126 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.2 and Labande grade 4. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

A bunch of steep chutes run down to the lake, numbered 1-5 from east to west. They can be scouted out from the top all the way to the bottom. They're fairly steep.

Severe

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
