Curvaceous Couloir Map

Go to Little Blue Lake on the Mitchell Lake Trail. From here, either climb the South Slopes or the line itself. The couloir does not reach the summit, but it's not too difficult to make the summit from the top-out. The start is a little inset and is the steepest part (38° or so), it mellows out the lower you go. Follow the namesake curves all the way back down.

Difficulty

Severe

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.

Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
