This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between May and July. From a low point of 3.7 km to the maximum altitude of 3.9 km, the route covers 348 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 154 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 4.2 and Labande grade 5. You'll need ice axe and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

The max angle hits the upper 40°s, and the line is topped by a cornice. It's yet another popular climbing route. Make your way to Lake Dorothy, and then find the couloir in the middle of the face that has a split up top.
