This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be severe. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between May and June. From a low point of 3.7 km to the maximum altitude of 3.9 km, the route covers 474 m, 1 vertical metres of ascent and 219 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.3 and Labande grade 4. You'll need skins, ice axe and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

The looker's left side of this face on Neva. This melts out fairly early in the year (get here late May if possible). As with other lines here, hike to Lake Dorothy via the Arapaho Pass Trail to start.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
