More of an alpine challenge than a straightforward couloir. Navigating the slant (without taking a tumble down the cliffs below) rewards skiers with a fun apron finish.
Description
Breaking treeline above Mitchell Lake reveals the Little Pawnee Headwall to the south with its various steep chutes. Obliquity Couloir is located on the far looker's right side of this feature, seen slanting down and right. Go climb the line itself or one of the other various options on this face. The snow gets thin in spots and a fall would result in a major tumble down vertical rock, so be careful.
Difficulty
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
