This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between May and July. From a low point of 3.7 km to the maximum altitude of 3.9 km, the route covers 271 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 150 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 5.1 and Labande grade 5. You'll need ice axe and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

People tend to ski the looker's right chutes, since they don't have a cornice up top, but there's some serious terrain here to explore. To make it to the summit some Class 3 is required. This is the furthest stuff right when looking from Lake Dorothy.
