Shoshoni Peak Southwest Couloir Right Map

This descends from the East Ridge through two huge buttress formations, feeling very walled-in. It's also steep, nearing 55° near the top. To get here, follow the Isabelle Glacier Trail for just over 4mi until you find yourself south of the huge South Buttress. Climb the couloir that cuts between the rock formations until you reach the east ridge. From here, climb to the summit.
