Snow Stake South Map

Good snow and low angle makes this a terrific winter option. Either park at the small pulloff just before the summit of the Pass (on the Salida side), or park at the summit. For the latter, follow the skintrack described in Crest Bowl. For the former, skin up the gully until a saddle is reached. Go left (south) from here until you reach the summit. Ski back the way you came.
