This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's very remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between March and May. From a low point of 3.3 km to the maximum altitude of 3.7 km, the route covers 2.3 km, 4 vertical metres of ascent and 490 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.1 and Labande grade 4. You'll need skins and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

This descends from the notch in Audubon's southeast ridge, going north. It melts our pretty quick and has a lot of rocks to avoid. It's on the south side of the Mt. Audubon Cirque.
