This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's very remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between February and May. From a low point of 2.5 km to the maximum altitude of 3.2 km, the route covers 3.1 km, 704 vertical metres of ascent and 8 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.1 and Labande grade 1. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

The Northeast Ridge provides the safest approach to the summit of 10,424'. There are a few rocky outcrops near the top to navigate.
