This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's remote, it features medium exposure and is typically done between June and October. Description
This trail is on Acadia National Park's portion of the remote island, Isle au Haut. To get there, take a 45 minute ride on the ferry from Stonington. Loop hike is 4.5 miles and will take 2 to 3 hours.
