This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's very remote, it features high exposure and is typically done between June and October. From a low point of 398 m to the maximum altitude of 698 m, the route covers 5.9 km, 317 vertical metres of ascent and 315 vertical metres of descent.

Description

This short but steep hike starts at AMC's Little Lyford Lodge, or across the street from it. It is on the easier end of moderate and offers fantastic views from the Laurie's Ledge viewpoint as well as at a viewpoint at the end of the trail near the summit.
