The Lightning Bolt Map

This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between January and March. From a low point of 366 m to the maximum altitude of 1.1 km, the route covers 2.7 km, 15 vertical metres of ascent and 702 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

Instead of the upper section on the AT, you drop right down the fall line over the ledges, hooking up with the T-Bolt again just above the Big Schuss. Really steep, nice open woods, several large but forgiving ledge drops. Nice steep landings.
