The Geology Trail at Whipple Hill Map

Whipple Hill provides an easy escape from the bustle of Boston life. Situated in Lexington, just outside the city centre, it's part of the larger Middlesex Fells Reservation, which encompasses several hills, trails, and natural landscapes.

Description

Whipple Hill itself is characterized by gentle slopes, wooded areas, and meandering trails that wind through the forest. There are numerous trails but the most popular option is the Geology Trail, and it's an excellent run through wonderfully serene forests.

One of the highlights of Whipple Hill is its panoramic views of the surrounding area. From the summit, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the Boston skyline, as well as the lush greenery of the Middlesex Fells Reservation.

The hill is particularly beautiful during the fall months when the foliage bursts into an array of colors, creating a picturesque backdrop for outdoor activities.

The Geology Trail is a loop, so logistics are simple, and the access couldn't be much simpler.
