Ainger Lake S Chute Map

The Ainger Lake S Chute is another great South facing line in the Frazier/ Ainger area. It has about 800 feet of 40 feet wide skiing underneath a large rock wall. The main chute is about 35 degrees, but gets steeper if you run it out a little further to the looker's left at the top. This is a great line to catch in mid winter on a cold day, or later on in perfect corn.

Difficulty

Severe

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
