This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be easy. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between October and June. From a low point of 1.9 km to the maximum altitude of 2.1 km, the route covers 6.7 km, 176 vertical metres of ascent and 383 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.1 and Labande grade 1. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

A long, windy sled trail from the top of Battle Ride Pass which leads to the Throne area. Some South facing sections melt out early.

Wide gentle slopes at around 20 degrees or less.
