This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be easy. It's an unknown remoteness, it features unknown exposure and is typically done between October and June. From a low point of 2.4 km to the maximum altitude of 3 km, the route covers 9.5 km, 31 vertical metres of ascent and 644 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.1 and Labande grade 1. You'll need skins to complete it safely.
Description
A 3 mile groomed snowmobile trail that starts just above Cooke City, before Colter Pass. It's mostly flat and smooth, heavily trafficked. Stay to the side of the trail.
